NwG CS:S WC3 |

Alrighty, well I had a good time testing and playing the WC3 mod for CS:S. Based on the fact that we all enjoyed it, and that it offers additional layers of features to CS:S we will be running this mod on NwG CS:S. (So long as it doesn't cause too much lag.)
Now I have updated CS:S on NwG, installed the latest Mani Admin, Matti Events, and not the latest WC3 Mod. I have left everything default for now, until we reallly get into it, and see if there is any tweaking to be done.
It's running so go TRY IT OUT! Now. NO really. Now. Enjoy!

1.4, POE2, New Server, and a Partridge in a Pear Tree |

The time has come! Those crap-tastic coders over @ E.A. have released their 1.4 patch for BF2. Scoutnex has posted the change log, and where the mirrors are for this file in the BF2 forum. (For the lazy-- You can download the 1.4 incremental patch from the NwG Downloads section.)
As you all know we have been looking at the possibilities of running a BF2 POE2 server. Well those ideas, and possibilities turned fact today. As of this moment NwG runs a 32 man, conquest, all maps (temporary), POE2 server running on the 1.4 patched server build. The server has been tested and is up RIGHT NOW! So go ahead---jump on in!

All NwG clan members please see D-Pimp or Scout for BF2CC access. (BF2CC can be downloaded from the NwG Downloads section as well.)
The final bit of news is the new 35 slot Ventrillo server that Scoutnex has purchased for NwG use! Yessir, that is right.... Scoutnex put out of his own pocket for this server without hesitation. Everyone should take a moment to thank him for his hard work, and dedication to NwG and all the players here.
The new ventrillo server is up, and will be available at:

Now to see about that damn partidge and its damn tree.....

NwG Sec Com - CHANGED! |

Hello Everyone!
It's been a while since I posted a news item so I figured I would go ahead and let you all know of a few changes that have been made recently.
For starters NwG now officially uses Ventrillo for in-game communication. You can grab the proper client version from our Downloads section.!
The Ventrillo IP is the same as always: 207.150.196.100/nerdswithguns.com
The second change made recently is the--You guessed it!--- Downloads section. You should be able to find ANY NwG specific software, and all "supported" game updates here. Enjoy!
Also, feel free to upload USEFUL utilities and applications to the Misc File section. (Please DO NOT upload Copywrite material as it will be removed, and the offending account closed.)
